Through the efforts of the Mayor and Trustees, the Village of Arlington Heights has developed a program that is run by the chamber to retain businesses and help them expand. The Small Business Development Agreement (SBDA), which began in 2013, provides new and existing businesses an advocate to navigate through Village policies and procedures. The experience of the chamber staff can assist with projects and strategies to make build outs, remodeling projects and signage cost effective and timely.
Non-chamber & chamber members throughout the Village have access to this assistance through the SBDA.
If you are an existing small business owner, or want to open a business in Arlington Heights, in need of assistance with navigating Village government procedures for signage, remodeling, compliance issues or changing policies to help the business community succeed, contact Jim Platt: (847) 253-1703 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
